When you present an organized, content-rich webinar and connect with each audience, you enter on your field, becoming an authority that will be well on your way.
Before knowing what is a webinar with a flawed slide, cackle audio, or worse, but … you are likely to lose the trust and respect of a customer you get so hard.
The reality is that as we all have experienced, however, there is also a good webinar run on an experienced host that sometimes runs into errors or technical glitches.
Is there a way to prevent this everyday breakdown from turning into a full webinar disaster? We have created an initial checklist for running high quality, less stressful webinars. When you run your next online event.
Testing Process
The most important part of your webinar is listening and viewing of content that both attendees and panelists are aware of. In one case there will be a webinar that will be non-starter.
You’ve got to ensure a flawless experience for all attendees coming out of your event – this means testing all the elements of this webinar process before you show the real deal.
Set up a Test Webinar
If you invite your subscription customer panel during the event, please ask the guest to join you in the test run.
Ask the panel to use the headset to check everyone’s voice, and remove echo and annotation sound presentations. Slides should work smoothly. If you are going to switch presenter, make sure the panel is able to proceed with the slide or show your own demo.
Test the Recording Process
Create a recordable movie and create a video file that you can use. Recruit a couple of friends to attend a webinar and they get a backup record for you.
This includes polls, surveys, questions, quizzes or assignments. Attendees will be able to get in touch with the team by asking questions or reporting problems. Make sure the chat box works.
A few days before the webinar
Wanted a Wingman
Having a wingman takes a lot of stress in a webinar presentation. If possible, be a person behind your stage in a webinar and recruit colleagues, colleagues, or secretaries. This person’s job is to help attendees solve personal problems. This way, you do not defend “I cannot see it in my browser” while you try the gift.
Create a Backup Plan
If things go wrong, is your procedure fixed? How do you shift gears to solve problems?
Prepare the BIOS.
Get short postings for each of your panelists. When the time comes during the live event, please refer to the dictionaries so that you are ready to introduce them.
Before the right webinar
Prepare Your Computer
Close bandwidth consuming applications, backups, processes that use lots of other resources on your computer. If you run a drop box, pause the sync during the webinar.
Stop notifications.
Shut down your system – email, social networking tools, backups, bells, flash, flashes, or beeps on the screen, and turn off all notifications from anything.
Power up.
Make sure you are plugging in to a working power source.
Use A Free Webinar Software
ezTalks Cloud Meeting give you the features for free which any other webinar programs can only dream of. You can use the one of free webinar tools to easily start your conference and add up to 100 members without any investment. If you have a larger team of more than 100 members, you can always subscribe its paid plan which accommodates up to 500 members.
Prepare Work Area
Remove the children and pets from the area where you will be presented. In addition, documents and other materials can be configured to minimize shuffle page rotation while the event is alive.
Turn off the noisy device.
Yes, it includes this phone. Turn it off for a webinar! If you have a lot of things off, you need to write a list for the next time so you will not forget anything.
early.
Sign in to the initial webinar for at least 10-15 minutes. When this webinar starts you can be comfortable and ready, plus you can handle the last minute issues you can come up with Run webinar.
Start Broadcasting on Time
In any case, there is no more than 20 minutes late if your own 10, 15, or opening webinar organizer. Talk to your audience if they can hear you and see you. Send a thumb to the chat box to request confirmation.
Organization and Control
Initially, you will be presented with any status updates, special instructions, or lyrics.
Provide relevant social sharing information.
Share hashtag and encourage social discussion. You can consider putting a hash tag on the corner of every slide on your deck.
Introduce all Participants / Panels
Before the event officially begins, introduce the participants and panel to the audience. This provides correct perception, and when the event starts you can avoid confusion.
Start recording (s).
Do not forget to hit the record! I will do the recorded version posted later. You can create additional content on your site, plus you cannot create a live event to make sure people still see the webinar.
Run a webinar without losing your mind
When you do a webinar, something is almost always wrong. Let’s deal with the problem and wingman, if possible, but do not be afraid to temporarily pause the presentation if the situation demands it.
The prospects do not even care whether you are a human being. The difference between success and failure in the web seminar world lies in the ability to recover from the problem. It maintains a sense of humor as it is flexible and has a good backup plan. And remember – you can edit almost anything in posthumous records! Chris Garrett recently taught a seminar for members of the Institution called “Creating a High Value Webinar”. And (of course), we had some technical problems too. But it is worthwhile to watch the session and it is definitely worth it.
