The desire to stay fit is good as long as it is not causing imbalance in overall body health. The increased awareness of fitness and its benefits, is driving people to follow various types of diets, fitness routines etc. But are these all helpful? Unfortunately no. There are many companies who publish only the glittery side of their diet system and attract people to use their diet plan. Paleo Diet

Also called caveman diet as it is based on the philosophy that “If our ancestors didn’t eat it, we shouldn’t eat it.” On paleo diet you are supposed to eat more animal protein, fewer carbohydrates, high fiber, and more fat less salt.

Raw Food Diet

It is based on the practice of eating only uncooked and unprocessed food. The raw food diet may include a selection of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds , eggs, fish, meat, and non-pasteurized/non-homogenized dairy products.

Cons-

1. Nutrients from raw food are complex and difficult to digest.

17 Day Diet

Unlike what the name suggests, the 17 day diet is not entirely 17 days long but each phase of this diet is 17 days long.

The theory behind this diet plan is that the diet prescribes a slightly different eating and exercise regimen in each of its four cycles to promote “body confusion”.
